Twelve Weeks of Star Magic

Star Drenched:
Weekly Rituals

Be a Shining Star Among the Stars in the Sky

Begins September 20, 2026

Every week for twelve weeks, I will lead a different starlit ritual.

Each ritual is transformative beauty that improves our lives inside and out. Expect ecstatic mystical experiences that can make worldly and spiritual dreams come true. Benefits like prosperity gained with ease. And calm in the midst of a storm.

Important sidebar: Ecstatic mysticism is often associated with drugs. I do not use drugs. We don’t need mind-altering chemicals to enter ecstatic states. Joy is innate to us. It is our inheritance as children of Fey Gods. My rituals walk you through the veil between the mundane world and the gorgeous Fey realms.

We do each ritual together. I lead you through it, step by step. A complete beginner can do it. A longtime Shaman will experience power and depths that meet their needs.

Starlit magic is one of the most beautiful ritual experiences I know. One reason I’m offering this event is to drench myself in starlight. You too.

Starlit enchantments are some of the most beneficial spells—at least the starry material that I channel.

Scoffers insist the starry-eyed mystic chases illusions. Stunning experiences prove otherwise. My starry rites bring me immense worldly results that might otherwise elude me.

Starlit empowerment seems even more important in our impossible times. The rituals nurture me spiritually and increases my worldly success in ways little else does.

The following examples show the wide range of magic that will help us improve our lives. Each magic is also an opportunity to revel in beauty and wonder:

We will do a ritual based on the Milky Way, a swath of stars that arcs across the sky and is well known in lore. I was stunned, twenty years ago, when I came across this painting in a museum:

The Birth of the Milky

Tarot Star card

We will also work with the above Tarot Star card.

As well as with a fairytale about stars. My mother brought the story to life when I was a child in the ‘50s. The experience changed my life, and it still uplifts me.

The rituals will experientially immerse us in the Mysteries of two Italian Gods—Diana Lucifera and Lucifer MorningStar. Lucifera and Lucifer are Latin for Light Bearer. Diana Lucifera is also known as Magna Mater (Great Mother Creator of All). Lucifer MorningStar is widely known as a stellar God. They are also the Italian Fairy Queen and King.

I discovered the above photograph in the ‘80s, in The Great Mother by Erich Neumann. The artistry of this Roman statue, her torch, and everything else in the photo, including the statue’s title—Diana Lucifera—penetrated my core, shifting my entire cosmology.

The above were only examples. There is more. I will gather together starlight rituals I’ve channeled over decades, so we can reap the metaphysical and worldly benefits of the rituals’ power as a cohesive body of work.

Every week’s magic will be significant, and the combination of all the rites together will be even greater. And it is fine if you miss a few weeks, because the weeks you attend will combine powerfully and effectively.

This twelve-week event will not be repeated.

It is a Shamanic journey possible only in the current mystical and mundane landscape.

Also, I can facilitate this specific journey only once because my being is capable of doing it only once. My being was meant to do it one time. Oral tradition is the moment.

Rituals for Weirdos

These twelve rituals are for the weirdest of the weird—individuals like me.

There used to be an expression: The country is slanted, and all the loose nuts rolled to California. Even in the old, wild San Francisco decades ago, I was considered weird by most people there.

My type of weirdos: These rituals are for visionaries who wander in the gorgeous darkness of Mysteries, because it is how they find their way through life. Or visionaries who believe justice and beauty can prevail. Or weirdos because they want to feel the presence of Gods, and not just as rare occurrences, but as ongoing companionship. Weirdos who hunger for more than theories, who long for visceral Fey-touched experiences and cellular knowledge of magic. Weirdos who hope that fairytales and myths will come alive.

Magic in My Cauldron for You

In addition to our weekly ceremony, a spell will simmer in my cauldron to send you peace, success, good luck, and protection.

The weekly spells combine with my cauldron spell for a double whammy.

You Also Receive Personalized Rituals

Magic is personal, not like the estranged mechanistic world. I will channel material for each participant to help them overcome challenges and reach goals. You don’t even need to tell me what’s going on with you.

Upcoming Shaman Warrior Class

This post has been updated for the 2025 Shaman Warrior class.

The Spiritual Warrior
The Spiritual Warrior is a seven-week teleseminar (group class by telephone) with Francesca De Grandis

The Spiritual Warrior class teaches you shamanic rituals and wisdoms that empower your warrior aspect: the part of you that fights for survival, ideals, family, dreams, human rights, and Gaia.

I have not taught the course in seven years. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

The course description below includes some of my philosophy because it is part of the foundation for the class.

People use the terms “spiritual warrior” and “pacifist” in various ways. Here’s how I use the terms:

* I am not a pacifist. Pacifists will not engage in physical violence even if their lives are on the line. I’ve enormous respect for pacifists, and they can legitimately be viewed as amazing spiritual warriors, but that’s not what this class is about.

* Spiritual warriors are not unduly aggressive. Nevertheless, they’ll go into combat when needed. If battle’s the only choice, they engage with their whole heart and soul.

Ceremonial and practical lessons will include:
* why effective warriors often go with the flow instead of fighting it
* gentle uses of war
* how to shove back when push comes to shove, without losing the high moral ground
* the importance of down ‘n’ dirty fighting in business, community leadership, and inner growth
* strategizing with an ethical military mind
* standing up for yourself with no self-recrimination

The lessons’ rites also help you honor healthy aggression. Not all aggression is expressed by childish, irresponsible, hurtful rage. You’ll learn how to handle your aggressive power so that you express it healthily—you control it; it doesn’t control you.

We’ll celebrate the aggression without which we can lose our lust for life, because the two energies are so intertwined. You’ll find new passion for living because you’ll suppress your energy less.

I’ll also teach ritual methods for self-healing after the battles of childhood and adulthood. This class helps you regain a carefree, gentle attitude.

My warrior self protects the fragile child within me, providing the safety she needs to express love, delight in Fairies, and be creative. I’ll help you be a champion who shields your child self.

This class is for:
* the seasoned fighter who wants additional strengths, strategies, and self-control
* a person combatting a life-threatening challenge such as cancer
* someone needing to fight for a life that has dignity and pleasure
* and anyone else interested.

Novices to witchcraft are welcome, yet adepts will find appropriate challenges.

As I said, the above expresses my warrior philosophy as it underpins the class. The post also outlines parts of the curriculum. I hope you’ve enjoyed the material.

But warriors don’t settle for words. Join me for the work—and celebration!—needed to embody everything written here. Let’s live our lives fully.

Nuts and bolts:
* Lessons are group meetings by phone. To participate, simply phone the event’s call-in number.
* Class meets seven consecutive Sundays, from 6 to 7:00 pm pacific time, starting Sunday June 1.
* Reserve Sunday July 20, same time, for a makeup class in case I’m unavailable for one of the planned sessions.
* Cost is $200 a month for two months. Your carrier might charge you for the calls. To drop out, simply cancel your subscription, and no further payments are required. No refunds.
* Limited enrollment. Upon payment, your seat is reserved.
* If you don’t receive my personal email confirming payment within a few days, check your spam. If the email isn’t there, please call me at the number below.
* If you want to discuss a scholarship, semi-scholarship, or trade, or you need additional information about the event, please call me at the same number.

You are a warrior whether you know it or not. You have the power to fight for yourself and anything else important to you.

Goddess Womb Dreamcatcher

GdsWmbDC1S The only lore I’ve read about dreamcatchers is specific to dreams and nightmares. I sensed a deeper layer about visions—and an even deeper layer about the Goddess. To convey everything I channeled, I crafted a poem and a sculpture. I call them both “Goddess Womb Dreamcatcher.”

The poem and sculpture also convey my thanksgiving to Goddess.

To make the sculpture, I felted wool into organic shapes like leaves, vines, flowers, and a feather. I attached the shapes to a V-shaped stick, so the Dreamcatcher would be reminiscent of a woman’s reproductive system.

The poem is below, but first a detail of the Dreamcatcher: the wool sculpted feather.

GdsWmbDC2S

Shout out to the folks at Living Felt, where I purchase my wool: they sell quality felting supplies, created without cruelty to sheep, and provide exceptional customer service.

OK, this is the poem, (prayer, affirmation, contemplation, story, brilliant insights, brilliant application of said insights, visualization, ritual, etc.,):

Goddess Womb Dreamcatcher

All visions spring from the Goddess’ belly.
They travel down
until they meet a feather,
then tumble from between Her legs,
onto my mind.

I give thanks.

My mind is a womb upside down, though my mind is right side up.
My womb is a mind upside down, though my womb is right side up.
I am whole if I live in paradox.

I give thanks.

All life is woven within Her womb.
She’s the spinner who spun Herself into being.
I offer the life and art I weave to Her.

I give thanks.

NesltrSqTShe is the dreamer and the dream.
There is no Dreamcatcher but Her.
I send Her my dreams as an offering.

I give thanks.

The Goddess protects me—
captures both nightmares and sweet dreams,
taking them into Herself,
then birthing only the beauty
into my waking day.

I give thanks.

Yes, She’s Nightmare as well
—cackling menace in my powerless hours,
which are both sleeping and waking.
Even in those times, She holds all creation
—including the whole of me—
as the weaving of life that’s safe in Her womb.

I give thanks.

She bestows on me Her complete Self:
all creation and all beyond creation.
My ideal: give Her no less of myself,
offer my entirety
to Her and Her dreams.

I give thanks.
